Sarena Kapur Artistry

My name is Sarena Kapur, an artist based out of Raleigh, NC. I use my hands to create bright and pastel paintings and products with thick, textural paint. I explore artwork with my hands as it makes me feel lively and expressive. The paint feels soothing to my hands and my energy, and I am in control of the outcome, which feels fantastic. 

As someone with high-functioning Autism, creating art keeps my autism and another diagnosis at bay. Therefore, creating daily artwork is my coping mechanism, and it helps me appreciate my life and blessings every day. Inspired by nature and seeing the beauty in flowers;  they remind me that one should never give up on dreams! Keep reaching for the stars!
