Trove encourages individuals who have disabilities (supported by their families) to open a store. We follow the same definition as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Q3: What does it mean to live at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines?
This just means that the money you and the people you live with make each year is not very much and that it is low enough that you might need help paying for things like food, rent, or medicine.
The government has a chart that says how much money people need to live. That chart is below for 2025. If you make less than 2 and a half times that amount, then you are "at or below 250% of the poverty guidelines."
| How Many People Live in Your House? | If You and All the People You Live With Make Less than this Amount, You Are At Or Below 250% the Poverty Guidelines and Qualify for the Market |
|---|---|
| Just you | $37,650 |
| You and another person | $51,100 |
| You and 2 other people | $64,550 |
| You and 3 other people | $78,000 |
| You and 4 other people | $91,450 |
| You and 5 other people | $104,900 |
| You and 6 other people | $118,350 |
| You and 7 other people | $131,800 |
For example:
- If you live by yourself, and you make less than about $37,650 a year, you are at or below 250%.
- If you live with one other person, and together you make less than $51,100 per year, then you are at or below 250%.
- The number changes depending on how many people you live with and how much money the whole household makes.
