Below, you will find answers to common questions about becoming a seller, buyer, or participant on our platform. Trove Market is an inclusive digital marketplace intended to empower individuals with disabilities by providing a space to sell products they create or services they provide.

Q1: Who can sell on Trove Market?
Trove Market is for people with disabilities. You can sell on Trove if:
- You have a disability, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- You earn a low income on your own.
Q2: How can I connect with someone at Trove Market?
Q1: What is the income limit to sell on Trove?
To sell on Trove, your income must be at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). But keep in mind, we only look at your income. We do not count income from parents, a spouse, family members, or roommates.
Income we count includes:
- Wages from a job or self-employment
- 1099 income, if it comes from actual work you do
Income we do not count includes:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP food assistance)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)
- Housing assistance
- Heating credits (LIHEAP)
- Medicaid
- Other income-based benefits
- Financial help from a family member, friend, or caregiver
Q2: Do I need to disclose my disability to sell on Trove?
Yes. When you sign up, you'll fill out a Disability Disclosure Form. This helps us confirm you can sell on Trove.
Q3: Can people without disabilities sell on Trove?
No. Trove is only for creators with disabilities, so they have a space to earn income and build independence.
Q1: How do I sign up to be a seller?

Q4: What types of products can I sell?
You can sell items you create or resell items you modify. This includes art, crafts, candles, jewelry, digital downloads, etc.
Important note:
Some items are not allowed. Our Prohibited and Restricted Items Policy forbids selling anything that is illegal, unsafe, harmful, or inappropriate. This includes items like alcohol, tobacco, drugs, weapons, hazardous materials, live animals, counterfeit goods, certain services, and content that is hateful, violent, explicit, misleading, or restricted by law.
Q5: Which products are not allowed?
Our Prohibited and Restricted Items Policy forbids selling anything that is illegal, unsafe, harmful, or inappropriate. This includes items like alcohol, tobacco, drugs, weapons, hazardous materials, live animals, counterfeit goods, certain services, and content that is hateful, violent, explicit, misleading, or restricted by law.
Q6: Can I sell items I bought from another vendor?
Yes. As long as you create or change the product yourself and follow all copyright and intellectual property laws.
Q7: Is there a limit to how many products I can list?
No. Just make sure your listings are correct and that you can deliver the orders.
Q8: Does it cost money to sell on Trove?
No. Creating a shop is free.
Q9: What fees does Trove charge sellers?
Trove charges a 3% fee. Stripe also charges a small fee to process the payment.
Q10: How do I get paid?
Trove uses Stripe to charge buyers and then pay sellers. When you set up your shop, you'll connect to your Stripe account and add your bank info. When a customer buys something, Stripe will send the money straight to your bank.
Q11: Do I need a business license to sell on Trove?
No. You don't need a business license, and you don't have to form a corporation or LLC.
Q12: Can I pause my shop if I need a break?
Yes. You can pause your shop, so buyers won't see your listings. Just email infotrove@trovemarket.com and include a link to your storefront

Yes. Trove uses secure systems to protect your information and keep it private.
Q1: What should I do if I have a problem with an order or a complaint?
First, try messaging the seller or buyer directly to resolve it. If that doesn't work, you can email support@trovemarket.com for additional support.
